ISOC-Switzerland supports the Swiss Internet Governance Forum

Update: Swiss IGF 2015 – Messages from Bern

ISOC-CH is a partner of the Swiss Internet Governance Forum (IGF), a multi-stakeholder dialogue held every second year. In 2015, the meeting will be held in Bern on 19 May. The Swiss IGF aims to enable Swiss players to interactively discuss among themselves topical questions concerning governance of the internet. This year, the general themes covered include: trust in the Internet in the post-Snowden era; security, provider liability, data retention, consumer protection; open and big data; .swiss; access to content and services.

The Swiss IGF is open to anyone who is interested. It is supported by an open group of representatives from government, business, civil society, academics and the technical community. All interested parties are invited to play an active role in the IGF process in Switzerland. The themes for Swiss-IGF 2015 are not determined by the organizers, but on the basis of a consultation with all interested parties.
